Hi, I'm Robb. (And that's Mojo.)

Having worked with the animals in (and from) various shelters, I have experience with a wide range of sizes, temperaments and breeds – from Ragdoll kittens to adult American Bulldogs.

Unsurprisingly, some of these cats and dogs have needed a little extra support. Some have been abused or otherwise traumatised. Some show reactivity to other animals or strangers. Some are fearful of fireworks or even their own reflections…

Koda, a tan Staffie-mix, and Pixel, a black and white terrier, cuddle up on a brown sofa

Koda (tan) and Pixel (b/w)

Much like our own Koda…

A Staffie-mix who was rescued from an unwanted litter at six months, Koda hadn't been walked, socialised or habituated (i.e. acclimatised to typical experiences) during this crucial period for puppy development. As a result, he's anxious, slow to trust, and easily spooked – and he needs a little extra reassurance.

Whether your own non-human family members have come from a similarly troubled background, or would simply benefit from some additional one-to-one care attention, Companion Compassion can help – with “specialist care for when you're not there”.
